I have been enjoying the experimental classical music videos of Indian Raga for a while now. Had written earlier about how these are contributing to the new-age evolution of classical art.

Loved Indian Raga’s latest offering, this wonderful new composition in praise of Lord Ganesha which was released during the occasion of the Vijayadashami festival. The classical notes are in complete harmony with the poignant visuals which picturise how an underprivileged child gets a school education. The song is rendered formally as in a Carnatic concert, against the backdrop of a classroom. This is a great example of art for a cause.

This cheered me up instantly. A pity they are not accepting donations from India. Would have loved to contribute.
